Customer Relationship Management

I never realized how important a relationship with a customer can be until I lost a few, who I thought were my customers forever. What really surprised me was the ease with which I could have kept those customers just by watching my inventory software. The inventory software that I was using was saving a whole lot of valuable information that I didn’t know about and if I’d known, I’d have caught the fact that I was not taking care of my customers inventory stock like I should have been. The software contained a section called Customer Relationship Management that was the answer to my problem of falling behind on supplying my customers. The software had a data program on it that actually told me who was getting what, how much and how many they should have left, based on their history of ordering. I knew that the software could tell me about my operation but I had no idea that it could keep track of my customers too. I found a little website that gave me that information after I lost two customers by not keeping up with them the way I should have. That site, if it’s still the same, was customer relationship management and I definitely was glad to find it, quite by accident. Once I found out how to use my inventory software appropriately I was able to talk to my customers and get them to give me one more try. I guarantee you that I will not lose them again for stupid reasons like that.
