When taking a new credit card, make it a point to ask the providers what they do about Credit Card Fraud Prevention. Do they have a system in place by which they can track criminals who are using stolen credit card numbers? Are they prompt in taking complaints, blocking credit cards or putting them on alert, and then tracking the criminal immediately when he or she makes another purchase with the credit card? And how will you have to repay to them in case of a credit card fraud? You will need to get these answers before you even think about applying for credit cards.
