E-books and techniques of its creation
The use of e-books is increasing as they are a great way to promote a service or product but many people are not that confident about writing them. If you've been delaying on writing your own, try this easy process below. Some people use other writers to help with the content until they feel happy they can do this on their own.
We all have areas where we are knowledgeable and this is the place researching your e-book so start by writing some articles to gauge interest in the subject; because if there is an interest, people will pay. For beginners, this type of book publishing may be hard at first but as you get the hang of it, it will become easy. By writing the articles it provides practice and they are easier to do but they can also be used later to help promote your book in all sorts of online areas. If these articles are sent to article directories, within a short space of time you should have a very good idea how many people have shown an interest and can estimate how successful it will be.
The overall structure can be a work in progress while the article content is being written. Books generally follow a familiar structure of: introduction, main subject content and a conclusion but it is becoming very common to see an additional section on resources. You can also increase the value of the book by adding some bonus material or sections.
As you complete your articles, insert them into your e-Book, the number of articles you require will depend on the overall length. E-Books are shorter than print books with the optimum length being around 50 pages so stick to the topic, and offer good, useful information. As computer screens are notoriously awkward to read with comfortably, a shorter more concise book is appreciated.
Be aware of ‘bonus' material as you write because E-Book purchasers love to get bonus material. You can easily write some extra articles or provide another report you have complied. The bonus material should really have a value all of its own and be directly related to the topic of the e-book.
