what is a medical assistant
The question “What is a medical assistant?” can sometimes be a bit hard to answer specifically. Medical assistants are basically caring people that like to help others. They work with physicians and assist them in a wide variety of tasks depending on what is needed at the time and what they have been trained to do. They have received a year or two of training and may or may not have passed an exam to become certified. They are able to help with administrative tasks as well as some of the basic clinical tasks involved in patient care, with the exact clinical tasks they are allowed to perform varying from state by state.
