Finally, I can shed the 19 layers of blankets I’ve had on my bed for the past week.  I don’t know why I didn’t just go stay with my mother.  Our old furnace finally kicked the bucket last Friday.  It had been on it’s last legs for a while, but we were really hoping that it would make it through one more winter.  Alas, that was not to be the case.  So, we bit the bullet and bought a new Trane Gas Furnace, and it was installed and finished and ready to go this afternoon.  It will be so nice to sleep without socks!
