When assessing your cheap wedding plans it is worth noting that the bulk of your budget will be taken up by the wedding reception so you can immediately reduce your costs by reducing the number of guests attending. Try and keep your guest list to a minimum: ask yourself if you really need to invite friends and family members you haven't seen for years. Other cost reductions can be made by looking at where the wedding reception is held; it could take place at a friend's home or a local club where money could be saved on beverages if they are supplied directly.
